    When Science Speaks is a web series profiling innovators in science and technology. In June, host Mark Bayer will speak with posed2 founder and CEO Allison Rosenberg about how scientifically trained people can advance their careers in meaningful ways, and about the nontraditional career opportunities available to scientists and engineers outside of academe.

    Dolphin Tank is an invitational pitch competition for select entrepreneurs to present their companies to accomplished investors, serial entrepreneurs, and industry experts. posed2 was one of three companies invited to pitch at the spring Dolphin Tank, held in Seattle, that was dedicated to "Frontier Technologies."

Built in Seattle selected posed2 as one of six edtech companies based in The Emerald City that are developing revolutionary new tools to ready students for a world of constant change.

    posed2: Geekwire asks: Can video games help students find their career fit?

    Geekwire is a news website that covers startups and established technology companies. Their regular feature, "Startup Spotlight" profiles emerging tech companies in the Pacific Northwest. In October, Geekwire's Lisa Schiffler interviewed posed2's founder about the company's game-based approach to surfacing a student's career strengths and aptitudes, and helping them find the colleges and college courses that best fit their career objectives.

    posed2 partners with the Tacoma, Washington chapter of College Success Foundation to test game-based assessments of college-to-career counseling

    The College Success Foundation is a national organization dedicated to enhancing college access and success for traditionally under-served students. posed2 partnered with the Tacoma chapter of CSF to bring the company's unique approach to personalized college and career discovery to students at high schools in the area.

    posed2 awarded Phase I Small Business Innovation and Research grant from the National Science Foundation

    The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program is the U.S. government's highly competitive angel fund. It provides equity-free grants to early stage companies developing innovative solutions to important social problems. posed2 received a Phase I grant to develop its game-based approach to personalized learning and discovery for aspiring college students, and game-based recruiting for providers of advanced education and training.

    posed2 partners with multi-university collaborative, Volunteer Science, to test game-based assessments of career fit.

    Volunteer Science is a collaboration among researchers from several leading universities, designed to expand the power of social science by engaging volunteers in online research. posed2 partnered with Volunteer Science to investigate the science of novel career guidance software and to develop it's game-based, free career test.

    posed2 joins founding cohort of Y Combinator's Startup School

    Startup School is a 10 week program organized and delivered by Y Combinator that educates founders about how to grow and manage a startup. posed2 was honored to be among the first cohort of companies competitively selected for this now wildly popular program of one of the nation's top startup accelerators.

    posed2 selected for Techstars' inaugural class of Startup Next

    Startup Next is an intensive five-week program that gives very early stage startups the tools and mentorship they need to navigate the initial stages of building a startup. Startup Next is part of Techstars, backed by Google for Entrepreneurs. posed2 was one of eleven companies competitively selected for the program's inaugural batch.
